한국전쟁이후 88올림픽과 2000년 뉴 밀레니엄을 지내며 한국은 초고속 경제성장을 이루었다.
문화,예술 분야 또한 제 2의 한류 열풍을 불어오며 글로벌한 세계정세에 그 문을 활짝 열었다. 한국의 미술계 또한 광주 비엔날레, 부산비엔날레등을 개최하여 아시아의 중요한 미술의 장으로 발돋움 하고 있다. 본 강좌에서는 각 시대별 주요 현대 미술 작가들의 작품을 감상하고 작가의 미술세계 함께 그안에 담겨진 한국의 동시대를 느껴보는 시간을 가진다.
모든 수업은 영어로 진행됩니다.

After The Korean war in the 50th, the country has experienced a surging growth thanks to global events such as 1988’s Seoul Olympics and New millennium in 2000.
Korea has been developing its art sphere worldwide through festivals like GWANG-JU BIENNALE , BUSAN BIENNALE where contemporary Korean art has been showed.
Korea is now considered as a hub for Asian arts.
This lecture will provide you a great opportunity to look over Korean contemporary arts and getting know about Korean modern artists.
All lecture will take place in PAIK HAE YOUNG GALLERY.
